We invite you to participate in the 20th Corearte Barcelona Festival 2026!
From October 12th to 18th, 2026, you’ll be part of a unique, non-competitive event that combines choral music with workshops, concerts, and sightseeing.
Barcelona, with one of the oldest histories in Europe, is full of life, music, and charm. It’s the most cosmopolitan, avant-garde, and modern city in Spain. Come and enjoy this experience in a magical place surrounded by art and culture!
Participation
All choir groups in their different categories are invited: Children choirs, youth or adult choirs , religious, community choirs, Institutes or Universities, professional choirs, amateurs, chamber choirs, ensembles or vocal groups. Individual singers can also participate under special conditions (please ask the organization).
Participation Requirements
Choirs wishing to participate must send the following to the organization before May 1st, 2026:
- Registration form.
- A brief curriculum of the choir and its conductor.
- A recent video recording featuring two pieces from their repertoire.
- A recent photo of the group and its conductor.
Concerts
The chosen concert venues are renowned for their acoustic quality and cultural or architectural significance, giving participating choirs the opportunity to perform in iconic locations in and around Barcelona.
These include the Montserrat Abbey, Sant Pau del Camp, the Mercè Auditorium in Girona, and other spaces of great historical and cultural value.
Workshops
The Corearte Barcelona Festival, scheduled from October 12th to 18th, 2026, provides a unique opportunity for choirs to expand their musical and cultural horizons. Throughout the week, daily workshops and activities are designed to encourage collaboration and learning among participating choirs.
The festival will conclude with a closing concert on Saturday, October 24th, where choirs will present the repertoire they have worked on throughout the week, showcasing the diversity and talent of all participants.
Accommodations
The Hotel The Breeze & Spa, formerly known as Hotel Montagut, is a superior 4-star, adults-only establishment located in Santa Susanna. This recently renovated hotel offers modern and elegant rooms designed to provide maximum comfort for its guests. It also features a full spa with various wellness and relaxation facilities.
For children’s and youth choirs participating in the festival, accommodations are arranged at the nearby Aquamarina & Spa, is a superior 4-star, located just a few meters from the Breeze Suite & Spa. Prices and deadlines
5 % Early Bird Discount
Participants in Corearte Barcelona 2026 can benefit from a 5% early bird discount if they pay the first installment two months in advance of the original deadline of May 15, 2026.
Deadline to qualify for the discount: March 15, 2026.
Discount benefit:
Double room: € 33,50 per person
Single room: € 42,50
Tuition fees with early payment discount:
Double room: € 636,50 per person
Single room: € 807,50
To qualify for this benefit, both the reservation and the first installment must be completed by March 15, 2026.

Program
Festival activities will begin on Monday, October 12th at 3:00 PM, so groups are encouraged to arrive before that time.

Welcome workshops and opening concert in Santa Susanna - Tuesday, October 13th: Training workshops, visit to Barcelona and concert
- Wednesday, October 14th: Visit and performance at Montserrat Abbey

The festival registration is designed to provide a complete and comfortable experience.
It includes accommodation at the Hotel The Breeze & Spa and Aquamarina & Spa, located 40 kilometers from Barcelona, offering quality facilities and a relaxing spa. Breakfast and half-board are also included, allowing you to focus on the music without any worries.
As a part of the registration, we handle all concert organization and provide the necessary information for each festival activity. You’ll enjoy choral music workshops to enrich your musical experience, and our dedicated staff will accompany your choir throughout the stay to ensure you get the most out of the event.

First payment: €200 (two hundred euros)
due by May 15, 2026
Second payment: €200 (two hundred euros)
due by July 15, 2026
Third payment at check-in (October 12, 2026): remaining balance · €270 double occupancy / €450 single occupancy (per person)
In addition to the final payment due on arrival, any optional extras requested by choir members – such as extra nights, transportation, or transfers – must be paid in full.
- Eligibility: Choirs with 30 or more registered singers receive one complimentary registration for their music director.
- What’s covered: The comp applies to the €670 registration fee only. Lodging and meals are charged according to the choir’s selected package.
- Rooming: If the director chooses single occupancy, the single-room supplement must be paid.
- Condition: The complimentary registration is confirmed only if all choir members meet the published payment deadlines.

- Concerts in acoustically appropriate venues for choral music

- Welcome pack with workshop/concert materials and local visitor information
- Certificate of participation in the festival and workshops
- Corearte staff accompanying the choir during the whole festival
- Airfare and ground transportation to/from the festival city.
- Local transportation during the festival (please coordinate with the organizers at administrador@corearte.es).
- Admission fees for museums, tours, and other cultural or recreational activities not listed in the official festival program.
- Insurance: The festival carries general liability insurance for the event; however, it does not assume responsibility for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses affecting participants. Personal travel and health insurance is required for all participants.
The cancellation policy is as follows:
- Cancellation before July 15th: Free of charge
- Cancellation after July 15th: A penalty 200 € applies
- Cancellation after October 1st: No refund is issued
It is allowed to replace a cancelled vacancy with another singer or companion at any time.
